More Ways to Get Paid
Accept cash, card payments, or both — your business, your rules. No Stripe account required to get started.
Not every business wants to process card payments from day one. Some prefer cash at the front desk. Others want the convenience of online payments. And many want to offer both and let customers choose. Now you can do all three.
Three payment modes
In your organization settings, you can choose how you want to accept payments:
- Manual payments only — customers pay in person (cash, bank transfer, or however you prefer). No Stripe setup needed.
- Online card payments only — customers pay with their card at checkout via Stripe. Requires a connected Stripe account.
- Both — customers choose their preferred payment method at checkout. Maximum flexibility for everyone.
Free bookings skip the payment step entirely — no unnecessary friction for your customers.
Custom payment instructions
When manual payments are enabled, you can write your own instructions that customers see at checkout. Tell them exactly what you expect — "Pay at reception before your session", "Transfer to account XY within 24 hours", or whatever works for your business.
No Stripe? No problem.
Previously, you couldn't set prices on your resources without first connecting Stripe. That restriction is gone. Set your prices freely, use manual payments to get started, and add Stripe whenever you're ready — or don't, if cash works fine for you.
Who benefits
- A squash club accepts cash at the front desk. Members book online and pay when they arrive — simple and familiar.
- A yoga studio starts with manual payments while getting set up, then adds Stripe later for online card payments.
- A coworking space offers both options so customers can prepay online or settle up on arrival — whatever suits them best.
